People involved
We are very grateful to all the people who have worked hard to bring this project to life. Particular thanks are due to all those who have taken the time to share their stories with us. The twelve women featured here are only a very small sample of the talent represented by Muslim women in Britain today. You can meet more role models at the Roadshows taking place around the country and on our Facebook page.
Project management: This project was managed by Equal to the Occasion, a communications consultancy run by Helen Wollaston.
Partners
- Inspired Sisters, a community organisation based in Manchester.
- Local authorities in Cardiff, Dudley, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newham and Rotherham are working with us to bring the roadshows to young Muslim women in their communities
- Friends of Islam: Our choices is based on an original concept developed by the All Party Parliamentary Group, Friends of Islam, to promote positive role models of Muslim women. Friends of Islam were also involved in the steering group for this project.
