London
Nearly 200 Muslim girls and parents came to meet some of the the national role models in East London. The girls also had the opportunity to meet local Muslim women working in the police, a city of London lawyer, finance lecturer, martial arts teacher, customer service apprentice and an HM revenue and customs officer as well as Fazia, Lara and Amina who are featured on the Our Choices website.
The role models gave a very clear message to the girls:
Being a Muslim woman shouldn't hold you back. If we can do it, so can you.
