Events

The women featured on this website took part in roadshows across the country alongside Muslim women role models from the local area. Secondary school age girls talked to them face to face about their jobs and had the opportunity to ask questions. Parents attending the roadshows also had the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss how they could support their daughters to achieve their dreams. Local organisations from each area provided information about education, training, career opportunities and support from the community.

Although the main target audience was Muslim girls, the events were not restricted to women and girls or to members of the Muslim community. We are now evaluating the project and will publish a report on this website later in the year.
